  • Olympus Camedia D425

Olympus Camedia D425 Reviews: I was on vacation about a year ago and slammed my digital camera in the car door. I was in the middle of Utah and my options were limited, so I bought the D425 as a quick replacement. I have to say that the photos I took with it were spectacular, mostly of landscapes and geological formations in bright sunlight. Since then I have been very disappointed with the performance of the camera. The shutter delay is horrible and I usually end up with pictures of my friends with distorted faces because they ask “whats taking so long” when the camera finally records the image. There are no bells and whistles on this camera and the overall performance is okay for a rookie but could sometimes be frustrating. My wife was so frustrated I had to buy another camera for her to use.

Olympus Camedia D425 Reviews: What a great little camera..amazing the shots you get while being so small. Compared to another more expensive camera I have, this one actually took clearer pictures. Can’t find one reason not to recommend the D425. Olympus has done it again.

    Olympus Stylus 1010

Olympus Stylus 1010 Reviews: I got this camera as a present for my birthday and it is wonderful. I am taking the best pictures I have ever taken so far. I shake like a leaf and even some of the best camera can’t compensate for that. This camera kept my pictures stable even if I am not. That is what was the most important to me I don’t care how great the camera is supposed to be if all the pictures end up fuzzy it isn’t worth it. This camera was worth every penny to me. Also if you have children this would be great. My son never stops moving which would normally make for a bad picture but this camera adjusts even when he is running the picture turns out clear. It is also very easy to use I figure out even the fanciest of feature in just a few minutes with the camera. I would recommend it to anyone on the go that wants great pictures.

Olympus Stylus 1010 Reviews: I bought the camera for the better zoom and rechargable battery. Awsome performance best zoom I have ever had. Can take almost 100 pictures on a single charge thats even with using the flash. Get features and tutorials to help you use the camera to its peak performance. If your looking for a great camera with many features and compact to boot dont pass this one up.

    Kodak EasyShare Z710

Kodak EasyShare Z710 Reviews: I love this camera. I wanted a digital camera with a view finder in addition to the digital screen because, as some of you may know, on bright sunny days, it is very difficult to see what you are trying to photograph because of the glare on the screen. This camera allows you to switch between screen and view finder, and takes beautiful, crisp photos. Mine is an older model, but I love it nonetheless. The 10x optical zoom is great for closeups. It’s really easy to download photos to a PC or to email them from the camera. I highly recommend this camera or a newer model like the Easy Share Z712.

Kodak EasyShare Z710 Reviews: I have had this camera for a couple of years now. I love it for daytime and great lighting situations. Prints great pics whether ordered or printed from a printing dock. However, I have children that play sports, sometimes at night and in a gym. In a gym, I can not get good pictures at all, day or night. On the field at night, it may take an alright picture, but it very grainy when I print it. Very disappointed, as a lot of my pictures are of my children playing sports. It does take good action shots, just in the daytime, not at night. For this reason, I will keep this camera as a take along snapshot camera in my purse, however, I am looking at a digital SLR for quality pics of my children’s sports.

    Kodak EasyShare C875

Kodak EasyShare C875 Reviews: The flash suddenly stopped firing and, although the camera is still under warranty, the fees associated with redeeming the warranty can be astronomical. Kodak can find the warranty null and void for any reason, then charge you for the return of your camera. We added up potential costs of turning the camera in for warranty work, and it would be more than a new camera. We’re going to give it to the kids to play with and purchase another brand camera for ourselves. I thought Kodaks were supposed to be top quality, but this experience has proven differently. It has been a terrible disappointment.

Kodak EasyShare C875 Reviews: We have had this camera for a year. I have taken more than 1000 personal and business pictures with it. In short, the Kodak Easyshare C875 is very disappointing. My suggestion, based on my experience Spend your money elsewhere on a non-Kokak product!

    Kodak EasyShare Z1275

Kodak EasyShare Z1275 Reviews: I decided to get a digital camera to upgrade picture quality from the pictures I take on my disc camcorder for my website. I decided that if I was going to get one that I would get one with high mega pixels to get the best quality pictures that I can get for my money. After taking the camera out for a couple trial runs at some functions I had I found this camera to be a GREAT buy for the money spent. I even like the computer progam that came with the camera. It’s very user friendly and shows up very well on my PC when it comes to picture clarity. One of the pictures I took was out on ther ocean on a frinds boat and I could actually see every ripple in the waves in the water.

When you click on your photo albums your pictures come out at full screen and the picture clarity was stupendous for them to be so big. They even have a nice slide show to review your photos. Taking photos is very easy too. There is a pre screen that helps you center your pictures before you take the perminant shot. The only flaw that I found is that the camera doesn’t have an anti-shake feature to help you stabalize blurs when taking pictures. You may have to retake some pictures if you don’t have a steady hand at times. There is a lot more great things that the camera can do and so far I like what I purchased. Fujifilm Finepix F480

Fujifilm Finepix F480 Review: Camera was everything I expected it to be. It was even a little smaller than I expected. It takes great pictures, especially wide angle shots which is why I got it. It will zoom for normal and closer shots. The flash is very adequate in low light situations. The only thing it doesn’t have that I would like is a hot shoe or cradle ability to charge the battery. It requires thinking ahead to make sure that the battery has been taken out and charged. The only way around this would be to buy two batteries and have one constantly charged, but a hot shoe to leave the camera in would solve that problem. But overall, a great camera, especially for the beginner.

Fujifilm Finepix F480 Review: This is the third Fuji camera that I have purchased. The others being the FujiFinepix 7000S and the Fuji A340. These cameras were purchased as back up to my Nikon pro cameras. The reasons for purchasing this camera was its large and bright 2.7 in screen which replaces 1.8in screeen on my other cameras, ease of operation, portability and lastly wide selection of shooting modes along with 8.2 mega pixelimage quality. Dual compatible slot is not too shabby either. Although image stabilization is limited for the price it can’t be beat as a no frills backup.

    Fujifilm Finepix E900

Fujifilm Finepix E900 Review: I was looking for a new one because my daughter dropped and broke mine, and I was very pleased to find one on Amazon. Unfortunetely it costs just as much to fix one as it does to buy a new one. I originally bought this camera when it first came out. It takes beautiful SLR quality photos and is so simple to use. And for a 9 MP camera, you cannot beat the price or quality.

This will be my 4th Fuji camera. The only complaint I have is with Fuji cameras in general. While the quality of the photos their cameras produce are superb and the prices are great, they seem to all have some sort of glitch. As another customer reviewed, his camera produced white lines in the photos. This has happened with 3 out of the 4 cameras I have purchased. I dont know anything about the insides of the camera so I do not know what causes this. Something inside just seems to go bad after awhile. But I keep buying them because of ease of use, picture quality, and price.

    Fujifilm Finepix A700

Fujifilm Finepix A700 Review: I’ve had this camera for about 1 year. The worst part is it eats batteries but I think most cameras do. I solved the problem by buying rechargeable batteries. Also, they give you hardly any memory so you will have to buy memory as well. It is worth it though because the camera is small but not too small, I can carry it in my purse with no problem. What I really like about this camera is the large screen on the back, the picture quality is very good, it gives 60 second video and when you play the video back on the camera you get the sound as well. I don’t need to carry a camcorder around anymore-just my camera. It also comes with plugs, you can put one end in the camera and the other end right into your tv and view pics and videos. I really like this camera!

Fujifilm Finepix A700 Review: This camera takes beautiful pictures in perfect light. I have no complaints about the pictures that I took outside. They were very clear and bright. But, if there isn’t perfect light, the pics showed up extremely grainy. The pictures that I took inside my house came up so grainy, that they looked like they were taken from a disposable camera. I have since returned this camera.

    Olympus Stylus 830

Olympus Stylus 830 Review: Easy to carry and use, but many features of larger Olympus cameras, such as available light and over a dozen other mode settings. It has the advantage for someone with another Olympus camera of using the same memory card. It fits in a pocket or purse, yet delivers excellent quality pictures. The telephoto includes optical zoom and the stabilization allows me to take pictures in a variety of conditions. The view screen is bright and clear. All in all, it is a good point and shoot camera; in fact, I bought a second as a graduation gift. Makes a good combination with a larger camera, especially another Olympus.

    Olympus Stylus 850SW

Olympus Stylus 850SW Review: It’s a great little camera. I use it for the quick grab shots of friends, family and activities and I purchased it for it’s ability to be used in different environments. I had upgraded from the 720SW due to some additional features. It seems like I’m always on a river or around water. I like the Olympus cameras as they are easy to figure out and use. Results are good and the true test came when I went on a float trip down a river with a bunch of friends. We were all on inner-tubes which means no-one is holding still for a picture. I’m constantly moving and the subject is constantly in motion. I put it on the stabilizer setting and got a lot of sharp images.
