Kodak EasyShare Z1012 Reviews: This is my third Kodak. It did not disappoint me. It takes excellent pictures and is easy to use. Love the image stabilization, so I get great pics even when using the zoom without a tripod. I have taken over 350 pictures so far on the battery it came with and it is still going strong. I do think it is pretty cheap of Kodak to not include a rechargeable battery, which means I had to buy one separately. Otherwise, the only con I have found is the lens cap falls off very easily.

Kodak EasyShare Z1012 Reviews: This is a great camera with lots of neat features built in. It’s nice that picture taking can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. It’s light-weight and small, but not too small. It has a good size LCD screen but if you happen to be at the beach, and can’t see the screen because it’s too bright, there is also a digital view finder that you can look through so you can actually see what you’re taking a picture of.

Fujifilm Finepix F50fd

Fujifilm Finepix F50fd Reviews: I have had the Fuji F50fd for a few months now and I love it! Easy to use. I love the display. I love the burst mode that takes the last or first 12 shots. I even take it with me more often that my other bulky digital camera. And it’s fast for poping single shots which is another major reason I got it. Been popping 6MP shots instead of going to 12MP. I think I need major important shots for that huge setting. But I like knowing it’s there if I need it for more detail.

Fujifilm Finepix F50fd Reviews: I typically do not write reviews, but felt compelled to write one on this camera, in hopes that someone from Fuji will read this review. First off, I have owned the Fuji F30 digital camera for over a year and have been very pleased with it’s performance, especially the clarity and color of photos in almost all lighting. I logically thought that the F50 would follow in it’s footsteps with some improvements made to the body, etc. The body and features of the F50 are great.

Fujifilm Finepix A345

Fujifilm Finepix A345 Reviews: My parents bought this brand for Christmas for both my brother’s family and mine. Last summer, we both complained that it used a ton of batteries, but it was more of an inconvenience than anything else. Since November ‘06, my camera now only takes clear pictures in bright situations, such as outside. Forget taking anything indoors at this point it is nothing but a complete blur that not even a picture program can fix. I have missed so many pictures because of it! I will never buy a Fuji again.

Fujifilm Finepix A345 Reviews: I have noticed several owners of this camera who have wrote reviews complaining about this camera failing to operate after a few weeks. When holding down the shutter to snap a photo, the camera shuts itself off.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ6K

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ6K Reviews: There are a lot of configurations, more than a casual user needs, but if you know a lot about photography, they will come in handy. I love the zoom and the shutter response. The batteries seem to last longer than any other digital camera I have owned. There is an odd thing about using a memory card, if you take a picture without a card, and then insert a card, you can’t view the picture until you remove the card.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ6K Reviews: I have used the Camera in New York and on holiday in Singapore and have taken some great photographs, it took me only about a week to learn how to use it I had no experiance with Digital Cameras. Being small and inconspicuous has a good zoom is great for canded photographs. I have also phographed landscapes closeup of flowers and insects with great results. More than happy with it.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5R Reviews: Nice compact size. Solid feel. But the noise reduction feature reduced pictures to a blurry mess. Even at it’s lowest ISO 100. 10 megapixels were way too much for this camera. Just noisy.

Panasonic Lumix FX100S

Panasonic Lumix FX100S Review: This is a beautifully built precision instrument, loaded with features and offering a range of controls. It requires more study and practice than I anticipated, and isn’t merely point-and-click even in its simplest mode. Its default sensitivity to light is for a smaller range than I was used to with my previous digital camera. So far, indoor photos fade into dark when they should have more of an illuminated background. Back-lighting also has been difficult to compensate for, although the features to do so are allegedly built in. As simple as it looks to operate, this camera does require hours of getting used to, in order to take advantage of all the features, and to get the results you want and should be able to expect. This camera is for the devoted, experimental photographer, or someone who likes to master complexities.

Panasonic Lumix FX100S Review: I’ve been very happy with the camera with one exception. The camera has no viewfinder making it very difficult to frame shots under bright conditions. If I had realized there was no viewfinder, I would not have purchased this camera.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ10K

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ10K Review: This is not your old Kodak instamatic camera, although it looks like one. This camera is miniature. Fits into any pocket or the palm of your hand. It comes with all the bells and whistles you need to take a variety of different lighting condition photographs. I chose this camera over some of the other Panasonic cameras because it allows for a manual setting for aperture and shutter speeds. Additionally it allows for timed exposure shots. So I would suggest this camera for someone a tad bit advanced in the knowledge of photography. The zoom is good and the image stabilization works fine. Over all I would give this camera an 8 out of 10. I took off 1 point because Panasonic could have fit a 3 inch viewing screen on the back rather than a 2 ½ inch and another point off for battery consumption. Keep a few batteries on hand.

Olympus Stylus 790SW

Olympus Stylus 790SW Reviews: I bought the camera for my daughter who had just purchased a kayak. Thought it would be perfect for capturing wildlife pics along Michigan streams without fear of water damage. The order arrived on my doorstep within minutes of the time that she drove up with the new boat on top of her car. Perfect timing. That weekend she toured the Kalamzoo river with friends and managed to swamp the new boat in fast water. Suddenly realized what a worthy gift this was. Certainly the ideal camera for any boater because we all get wet one way or another at one time or another. And the quality is everything they said. Jewelry beautiful as well.

Olympus Stylus 760

Olympus Stylus 760 Reviews: I recently purchased the Olympus Stylus 760 to replace my 2.1 Megapixel Olympus that I purchased years ago. While I love my old Olympus, I wanted to replace it with something a little smaller and lighter. I have been very disappointed with the new 760 the pictures are terrible! I even took the first one back, thinking it was defective. I have done a number of comparison shots between my old digital and the 760 and the 760 shots are much worse in all lighting conditions! I have been able to fix some of the problems with the Olympus software, but I can’t do that for every shot I take. The problems are bad blurring of any movement of the camera or subject in lower light conditions even with the anti vibration turned on. Even in good, outdoor lighting the camera is sometimes out of focus, poor auto read of lighting balance, and then there is that viewscreen which is useless outdoors. I am planning to take this one back and try a different brand. I have always had good luck with Olympus for both film and digital photography but something is seriously wrong with the Stylus 760!

Olympus Camedia D425

Olympus Camedia D425 Reviews: I was on vacation about a year ago and slammed my digital camera in the car door. I was in the middle of Utah and my options were limited, so I bought the D425 as a quick replacement. I have to say that the photos I took with it were spectacular, mostly of landscapes and geological formations in bright sunlight. Since then I have been very disappointed with the performance of the camera. The shutter delay is horrible and I usually end up with pictures of my friends with distorted faces because they ask “whats taking so long” when the camera finally records the image. There are no bells and whistles on this camera and the overall performance is okay for a rookie but could sometimes be frustrating. My wife was so frustrated I had to buy another camera for her to use.

Olympus Camedia D425 Reviews: What a great little camera..amazing the shots you get while being so small. Compared to another more expensive camera I have, this one actually took clearer pictures. Can’t find one reason not to recommend the D425. Olympus has done it again.
