Fujifilm Finepix F470 Reviews: In January my daughter bought this camera after we read the reviews and decided on what features she wanted. However within 5 months the camera stopped functioning. We sent it to the Fuji Repair center and was told it would be fixed or replaced within 2 weeks. It took six weeks to receive a replacement. Five weeks after getting this replacement the exact same thing went wrong the camera starts up, the lcd panel goes blank, the lens won’t retract and the only way to turn it off is to remove the battery. Nothing can be done but to send it in for repairs again. My daughter is hoping it won’t take another 6 weeks to get it replaced (again).
Fujifilm Finepix F470 Reviews: I have enjoyed Fuji cameras for years and love the quality of the pictures. I wanted a little camera that I could keep in my purse for whatever shots I came upon. This serves my purpose to a T. I can easily fit it into my pocket too. It was easy to learn how to use. If you want to do more things manually you can easily do that as well. But most people that want to only pay this small amount of money mostly want to point and click and then get a good picture. This will not let them down. As with other reviews, you do have to watch the shaking issue - so keep elbows in while taking a picture or set it on something solid like a car or a table if you can’t get the hang of keeping your elbows touching your body while snapping. The other thing was no viewer so you do have to use the big screen while taking a picture, easy for someone like me that needs reading glasses nowadays.

Fujifilm Finepix F470 Reviews: Let me preface this by saying that I’m not particularly camera/photographic savvy. I’ve owned this camera for about three months. I researched for quite a while to find a camera that wasn’t very expensive but took excellent photos to my untrained eye. The size of the camera is perfect for pockets or purses, yet it still feels very sturdy. The buttons are all well made as opposed to some other cameras that I looked at. It takes surprisingly good video, although not as good in less light. The battery life is adequate, and recharging doesn’t take long. The screen is large and clear. I was a little concerned about not having a viewfinder, but I don’t miss it at all. Since I purchased this camera two of my friends have also bought one, because once you use this camera you have to have it. It is easy to use right out of the box, but I do recommend reading the booklet because it gives some good tips about how to take the best pictures. I’ve had absolutely no buyer’s remorse about this purchase, and the more I use it the more I love it.
Fujifilm Finepix F470 Reviews: My husband decided to surprise me with a camera with a big viewing screen. I had a fujifilm A330 which I really loved, but the screen was super small. I couldn’t be happier with this new Fuji! The timing between flashes is amazingly quick. There is almost NO wait whatsoever! The detail of the pictures is fantastic! My favorite thing though, is how the camera feels in my hand! It fits JUST right and it is easy to take one handed photos. One other thing is that a lot of camera’s have a jerky affect when you are looking at the viewing screen. This moves smoothly over whatever you point at and I prefer that!

My son has requested the same item for himself. The camera is easy to operate and takes great pictures. It has a rechargeable battery so the camera doesn’t go through tons of batteries which is very nice.
